The Canadian Piano Technicians’ Network private Facebook group is hosted by CAPT/ACAP and welcomes piano technicians in Canada AND around the world, including professional, amateur and hobbyists to discuss and share piano technical knowledge in their personal journey to gaining more knowledge of the craft. We encourage those who join this Facebook group to consider CAPT/ACAP membership in the future if they are not already members of the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians.

We value keeping discussions within this group professional and cordial. To accomplish this we require some information of who you are when you first join this group. Unfortunately discussion sites such as ours often get requests to join from suspected spammers, web crawling robots, and those who desire to promote businesses or causes unrelated to our mandate of advancing piano technician education. To maintain these standards we request those who wish to join this group to first request to join the site at Canadian Piano Technicians’ Network and enter the name you use to identify you on Facebook.  Then register using the form on the Connect page of this website. The information you provide (name, email address) will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and allow us to share with you the ongoing activity and events of our association. After approval a Facebook site administrator find your request to join on the Facebook Group page and authorize your participation.

As is common practice with other moderated piano technician online groups our guideline for suppliers to the piano technician trade who wish to share their offers, specials, etc. to the trade to do this on Fridays.
