CAPT Activities
Like other professional organizations who meet to share experiences and knowledge, technicians affiliated with the Canadian Association of Piano Technicians focus on technical aspects of piano service. Learning from fellow technicians through meetings, seminars and on-line discussions continues to be invaluable for personal skill development as required in a high-skill demanding profession. Ultimately this benefits a piano owner in receiving reliable technical advice and professional quality piano service.
From its beginnings, the association has focused on enabling the pursuit of knowledge and skill development of piano technology for its members. Conventions and seminars are held regularly on technical subjects pertinent to piano technology, as well as classes in related subjects important to piano technicians …. such as business and marketing.
Utilizing the communication technologies of today members of this organization are able to connect with their peers across Canada and internationally to continually hone their skills to continue providing the best in piano service for their customers.
